Currently I am involved with the Tree House Gallery Project in Regents Park, The client has chosen my concepts and we are pending planning approval from the Local Authority, we have engaged a team of Structural Engineers to proof the designs and we are in the process of quantifying materials and sourcing suppliers who are willing to provide charitable support. With the exhibition deadline set for July ‘09 we are on target to deliver.
‘Perspicacity project’ - Status on going
I was approached by a group of graduates from Central Saint Martins asking me to take part in a fund raising art exhibition in London. The project aims to raise funds, via the London arts council and private sponsors, to build an art gallery/studio for young designers and artists. I have been asked to do a public art piece for this project and to put forward a concept proposal for the gallery studio building.
Central Saint Martins Projects:
‘Creating Futures’ Lewisham. - Status complete
The brief was to design a Community Arts Centre, with an integrated cinema on Fordham Park Lewisham. This was a client-based project where we worked both in teams and as individual designers to forward a fully resolved building proposal. Our team (and client ) were children from Deptford Green School Lewisham. The Creating Futures Project was exhibited at the Steven Lawrence Centre with guests including Ken Livingstone and the Ambassador of Jamaica.
‘R.N.I.B. (Royal National Institute for the Blind) & Tate Modern. - Status complete
The brief was to design a temporary installation at the Tate Modern which focused on all the senses other than visual.
